What is a catalyst?
Something that causes a chemical reaction without changing its own composition. Catalyst are also important in the laboratory as well as in manufacturing and industry. One of the most famous catalysts is the catalytic converter which helps to prevent automobile emissions and make fuel consumption more efficient.
What does the catalyst do?
It lowers the "activation energy" of the pre-combustion process allowing for transformation of the components of the fuel to form a more energetic mixture. This results in an increased fuel economy, a more efficient combustion and a decrease in harmful emissions.
SPEED PLUS VERSUS OTHER BRAND OF FUEL SAVING DEVICE
This product is not the same like other fuel saving devices. Other fuel saving devices either attaches to the fuel line to improve fuel vaporization or some attaches to the intake manifold and simulates a turbo charger.
Our speed plus is also attached to the intake manifold but because it contains a turbine and a catalyst inside the stainless steel casing it does the following:
1. The turbine acts as a powerful turbo charger pushing the incoming air & fuel mixture for maximum entry in the combustion chamber before the intake valve closes.
2. Whereas the catalyst clean the incoming air and completely vaporizes the fuel injection into the intake manifold before entering the combustion chamber.
3. The catalyst also cleans and expels the accumulated carbon deposits inside the combustion chambers thus getting the rated or maximum cubic inch displacement of the engine for maximum air and fuel entry and no wastages.
Together all these features ( are not found in other brands of fuel saving devices) results to less fuel wastages giving maximum engine performance and a higher fuel yield with less harmful emission.

Besides the mentioned advantages the engine is much better protected against wear (- 50%, therefore maintenance costs also less) oil will much less rapidly get pollute (longer oils change intervals) better engine performance by the reduced friction (on average 17.5%) Suppose that you lose all your oil bydamaging your oil carter casing by bumping on a hillock or something like that, the engine remains protected and will not get bogged down or damaged.
